I'm just going to go ahead and say this was the best surprise I've had with a Mexican restaurant in a while. The tamales, I'll repeat TAMALES are like grandma makes them! Flavorful pork and fresh masa. The food and drinks have me looking forward to my next visit! The bartender was incredible and I really can't say enough nice things.

Fantastic food and experience! With four people, we got in quickly - even on a Friday night. They have a kids menu (see my pictures), crayons, and coloring pages. The food was all amazing - especially the fish tacos and grilled cactus tacos. The shrimp tostani’s were also epic! The homemade guacamole was top notch. Service was extremely fast. As soon as we placed our drink and food orders, different people started bringing it all to our table. We were never without food or drink in front of us. Desserts were also great - especially the churros. Everything was served family style on a platter to share.

~$50 for two drinks, an app, and two entrees. Small, cozy, great atmosphere. Waitress was great, food was awesome. Honestly the best restaurant guac I've had yet. All around great experience!

I am a margarita & taco snob, and this place was AMAZING! Tacos were hands down the best in the area, and the spicy margarita was so delicious. Also, our bartender, he was great, too! I had absolutely no complaints. We will be back for more!

The tacos and the margaritas are the best I've had anywhere, equal to the best I've had in Mexico. Our server, Jana, was exceptional: good memory, skilled and efficient, personable and friendly. Most importantly, the restaurant and Jana made consideration of my need, as a Celiac, for gluten-free food a top priority. We always stop here for a meal when we're in Brighton. It's a good place for us, who live in Lansing, to meet friends from Ann Arbor. Only downfall: on a weekend night expect a long wait. They don't accept reservations.

I've never had a bad dinner, or service here! Always a 5 star meal. I usually get the same staples- trio dip, the al pastor taco, and fish taco... and mix it up with trying something else/new. Can't skip out on complimenting their tamale, some of the best I've ever had. The salsa Verde is fantastic and fresh. I also love their chorizo and asada tacos, margaritas and palomas as well! Their weekly specials are wonderful and always something creative and tasty. If you've never been and you like tacos and taqueria style food, you have to try El Arbol

Pretty good! Presentation is very nice. I got the elote with no pico, it had a nice char on it & good flavor. I also got the nopales taco & brussels sprout taco - both with no jalapeño & onions on the side. I’m not an onion person but these pickled onions were really good. I liked everything about the brussels sprout taco besides the beans. The nopales had great flavor but I personally don’t like the texture of them, glad I tried them though. Definitely would visit again but I don’t live close.

Our favorite local taco place! We love the drinks and food. My boyfriend gets chicken tacos and I love their vegan options. Every time we dine here, the service is so quick and the staff is beyond friendly. Highly recommend!! *TIP! Ask for extra lime to squeeze into the guacamole. Takes it to the next level!!
